I set up shop on Etsy and have a client who wants a Pastel Gown for her daughter for Halloween! It's my first sewing job that wasn't for me, so I was a little nervous when she first contacted me, but I'm getting pretty excited for it. It's turning out better than I expected and much quicker! I'm waiting on dying the fabric until it's been approved of by my client, so hoping for tomorrow!

I've taken quite the break with sewing because I've just lacked the motivation to do anything. All I end up doing lately is starting projects and never finishing anything like I used to and the quality, I feel, is going down. But I've been thinking about trying over. Starting again with patterns and doing it like I used to, even though I loathe patterns with a passion, maybe I could use starting from the beginning again. Maybe I'll even look into a sewing class.
